Cost: $180.00 per couple. $50.00 deposit (nonrefundable- balance of $130 will be due on arrival) is required to guarantee a couple's reservation.  Balance to be paid upon arrival. Checks should be made payable to Catholic Engaged Encounter. (get a registration form)

Time: Registration begins at 7:00 p.m. Friday. The weekend closes Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

You need to bring:

• Balance due, if not already paid in full.
• Snack to share: cake, or cookies, or chips, and a 2 liter drink of your choice (please no refrigerated snacks).
• Personal Items (shampoo, deodorant, tooth paste, etc.)
• Clothes: dress casual (no shorts allowed in chapel, be conservative-no short-shorts.)
• Hot/cold mug. (Styrofoam cups are provided)
• You may bring your own pillow as no other is as comfortable as your own.
• Do not bring valuables

Catholic Engaged Encounter will not be responsible for personal items brought to the weekend.

What is provided:

• All meals
• Bed and Bath linens (sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, wash cloths, soap)
• Writing materials

What to expect:

• The Engaged Encounter weekend will begin on Friday evening with introductions and a general review of the weekend agenda. The remainder of the weekend will be spent discussing important issues with your fiancé through writings, conversations, and listening to the team's couples discuss their experiences in marriage
• To receive a certificate of completion, you must attend the whole weekend

Directions:

• From I-10: Turn on I-65 North, take Spring Hill Avenue Exit (5A).
• From I-65: take the Spring Hill Avenue Exit (5A) and turn to the right on Springhill Avenue.
• On Spring Hill Avenue, drive approx. 2 miles; the Visitation Monastery will be on the left. Pass its long brick front wall and make a U-turn and enter the main gateway. Enter the three-story building on the left side of the drive.
• From Hwy 98 from Mississippi (Moffat Road), pass under I-65, 2 traffic lights later you will "dead end" into Spring Hill Avenue. Turn left, go about 1.5 miles. Follow directions above.
